He has to remove that mental block of who were playing, i wouldn't be mentioning them in any team talk or training session.
Refer to them as the 'other team'

Dont get the players too wound up keep them relaxed.

These are there for the taking, they are nothing special as a team.

It is odd, the once sky 4 that 3 of which were battling for titles, whilst Everton were relegation favourites. How could that disparity manifest?

…..we haven’t always been relegation favourites under Moyes, you’d have thought we’d have got a couple of wins at those places during his tenure. Anyway, it’s never too late to start.

I don't recall us being title challengers ever under Moyes.

….good point, I dare say it’s unusual, maybe even unique for a manager to be at a club outside of trophy laden SAF, Wenger etc. Still, you’d have thought he’d get an away win against those clubs somewhere along the way.
