Can’t see that myself, it’s not like there’s likely to be huge profits to be rinsed. That said I’m only expecting them to spend what can be accommodated within PSR which isn’t likely to be huge.
Probably more about the no show of the actual owners rather than their appointee’s.

Done a fantastic job overall since coming in.
Huge decisions and summer ahead now for him and the new staff. Will they be brave enough to let Doucoure and Keane leave? Will they sign Alcaraz? Will he avoid splurging £25m on Soucek? I hope so.

I doubt Moyes was throwing shade. Probably meant more about how important the club is to this town and around the world. That it’s not just Roma. We’re an original member and that we need to be great again.
Yeah Moyes was just acknowledging how incredible that atmosphere was and how big the club is and how it’s important the owners are bought into that and make sure they help bring that to BMD

He has done well. I thought the Fulham win last week was big for him as the Ipswich draw threatened to see the season just going out on a whimper.
He ,with the others really need to be on their mettle now to get the rebuild started. We need players to excite and inspire. Younger players, players with goals, pace, comfortable in the ball, with character.
He can be accused of downplaying expectations but I don't really see that in regards to next season. You can see why he would be more cautious talking about the current crop.
I still wonder if he can be bold enough in games and if we get players that will enable that, there is a ceiling with him, but we'll have to see where next season takes us.

To be fair, he’s always been the type to play expectations down. Probably a smart move given how badly things can blow up in your face in football (See Ronald Koeman)
