Based on ONLY Moyes results, we'd be out of relegation.

It’s interesting how his socieded spell is viewed so poorly. Yes they were 15th when he took them over but they were tied on points with 19th (having just won their second game of the season following the dismissal of their previous manager taking them up from joint bottom).

He kept them up and got them comfortably safe into 12th, 17 points clear averaging nearly 1.4ppg.

Had a poor start to the next season but I don’t think his time there is as bad as people make out.

Sunderland was disastrous.

In the end, it was 12 wins 36 La Liga games. They invested the

Solid start under him, but he had a bit the same problems as Dyche here in addition to the language. He couldn't find the connection to the fans and he played the same style as he did here, which was not really appreciated with the possession-technical style that's mostly replicated in Spain and San Sebastian.

Genuinely astonishing.

All three teams could very easily go down with less than 30 points. Even 25 points.

Goes to show how vast the chasm between the Premier League and the Championship is now.
notts forest only came up two seasons ago? Some sides fight to stay up, others are creaming off the cash bouncing up and down.

Two seasons in a row every promoted team will have been relegated.

Without digging into historical stats, I imagine it’ll be the lowest combined points total for the relegated sides in history - and the biggest gap between 17th and 18th to boot.

Yes, there are exceptions - but the gap at present is demonstrably enormous.

Maybe the richest game in football needs to get richer?

Any other examples of a manager falling off mid career and then completely recovering their reputation?

Clough, great at Derby, not so much for Brighton and Leeds, then is incredible at Forest.

More recently, maybe Howe? Failed at Burnley, returned to Bournemouth and now at Newcastle.

Maybe some signs that Lampard is going to revive his managerial career as well.
