2024/25 David Moyes

Any Everton manager would be in a better position if we could keep players fit. Marco Silva might still have been manager if Gbamin Gomes Delph Mina all didn’t get crocked in 19/20. Carlo might have led us to the CL but James and Allan missed far too many games.

If we want to kick on next season, Moyes needs his top players available all together more often than not.
True, but very good managers can get results without them. Moyes has always been able to pull rabbits out of hats, for whatever reason. He’s good at resetting when form is bad.

Youre thinking is EXTREMELY short term.

"Grow up" is what you would say to a child -- children have a short term view.

Adults actually look beyond the immediate and can see the chances of those players the manager is playing staying is higher than the ones that arent being used.

Thats logic. Something which adults rather than children use.

If you want Moyes playing Harrison, Doucoure & Broja next season then youre probably going to be telling 99% of Evertonian adults to "grow up".

Its Moyes.

Precisely what I expect Moyes to do. Or else why play him over Alcaraz?

Doucoure, Harrison and Broja could score 10 goals each today -- changes nothing.
🤣🤣🤣

It is not like WHU are doing any better since sacking him either. He is a good manager.

Not really, despite they have a good defensive record under Potter.
