14th or 15th is about right for this squad I would say. If we can add firepower to our reasonably solid defence then we can progress.

Counting the days until their contracts are up. I get he doesn’t have a lot of options but there consistently 3/10 players. His comments about Doucs really only helping off the ball at least gives me hope he knows how limited he is.
If you're picking a player for his pressing ability and physicality, and that player goes 3/12 on duels in a game, you probably made a management mistake.
Lots of people were saying it when dyche was here. Lots. To suggest there was a widespread acceptance that we were only a couple of points off where we should be is to misrepresent the situation to an incredible extent.
I'd strongly disagree. A lot were saying we should be doing better. We are . What was been served up was absolute rubbish regardless of the odd heroic draw .

I find a lot of people confuse having some good players with having a good squad.
We do have some good players, our squad has been ridiculous for years though with gaping holes all over the place. Its why every week we end up going into games carrying 3/4 players who more often than not let us down in the same way every time.
Hopefully that will change soon...
I didn’t disagree about what we were being served up? I’m talking about league position. There was not an acceptance that 15th was fine, not even slightly.

His job is to win games. You try different things to win games. We have been struggling to win games as of late. So yes. Experimenting is required at times.
I'm disagreeing that loads of posters suggested we should be top half . And if they did as suggested they were not being realistic.
Well I can assure you they did (and still are in some cases) but yeah you’re right in the second part at least.

As I said I don't agree ..there was a pre season predictions thread. I recall very few . Anyway my initial point stands. Those who said we couldn't do any better them Dyche was doing with the players were wrong.
