2024/25 David Moyes

He has squeezed every last drop out of the squad the last few games

For once, I'll give my blessing to the squad for a well deserved break (unless Wolves stuff us and I'll be fuming)
Thank god he has Dyche admitted himself he couldn't get anything more out of this squad.
Says a lot about his manager skills.
Honestly think we would have been right in the mix at the bottom if he had carried on

Yeah mate, I'd have us on about 20/21 pts right now under Dyche and Ipswich/Leicester would still be smelling blood.

Moyes has literally just propelled Everton well away from the drop and that has a huge effect on the bottom clubs. Instead of having 2 to chase, they've only got Wolves.

Been unreal turnaround. I'll take a point tonight but created more than enough to win, same last Saturday. It's called having standards, something Moyes has instilled in the squad with immediate effect.

I don't think he can believe how quickly he's turned it round.

And we're down to the absolute bare bones too.

Incredible job so far.
The biggest change he`s made player wise is starting O`Brien at RB, the rest of the improvement has really been from his approach to try to win the games. I had gotten to the stage under Dyche that when we went behind that I knew the game was lost, but tonight I`m sitting here thinking who is going to win us the game, even though we`re 1-0 down and have missed some great chances. We definitely have the beating of Wolves and West Ham in March and its nice to be looking forward to games with the thought that we can win them rather than hoping we might get a lucky draw.

Probably won’t make it up to top half, but it’s nice to feel like they might get something out of every game they play.

I mean except for Arsenal. I think Moyes has a GD of around -200 against them.

I was asking my boss at work today how he thinks his team would respond if he told them they weren't good enough but he didn't have the budget to replace them. Dyche was so negative. Was weird though because he did very well last season under the circumstances I thought. This year was a disaster

Yeah think you're right about O'Brien mate. Good shout.
