So how do owners employ a manager with no history of working with other owners?
I dont know what you mean. That's not what I've said.

What manager that we would ever go for has no experience of dealing with owners? If we hired a former player maybe, but that's not going to happen.

I don’t know. That’s what I’m asking you.

You said ‘You dont buy a football club and then employ a manager associated with another ownership.’

I’m asking how you find a manager with no association with other owners, unless you employ someone in their first job?

Sick of the negativity in this thread, and so called blues flying in straight after a defeat with the “I told you so” bollox.

Moyes wasn’t my first choice, but anyone with eyes can see the job he’s done already with these players, and the improvements made, regardless of the so called lack of quality in the squad.

Get behind him ffs - he will make mistakes but at least he’s trying to win games and talk the club up instead of down.

I honestly think they're pissed that we've pulled a bit away from the relegation zone after posting for months that absolutely nobody could do that. Esp nobody other than dyche

I was talking specifically about Moyes. He was appointed by Kenwright and he'll always be associated with him.

Do you think TFG are going to want to see a manager like that win trophy success at this club when they'll get hardly any credit for it.

They'll want to sweep clean at the first available opportunity and get their own man in.

IMO that'll be the summer.

It’s been widely reported by pretty much every news outlet as 2 1/2 years, journalists don’t tend to make these things up, they’ve clearly been briefed on the details.
Really? I have to admire, but inwardly question, your faith in football reptiles.

I can't quite work out why the length wouldn't have been revealed. Seems unusual but maybe it isn't and I haven't been paying attention. In the end, who cares? If he doesn't do reasonably well he'll be out on his ear no matter the length of his deal.

It could be anyone though, doesn't have to be first time.
Not a bad shout on Moyes moving upstairs and results are obviously going to be key. So far it’s been pretty good.

Maybe a manager similar to what Dortmund and Atalanta had or have had in the recent past to come in and do the same sort of job over a 3-5 season period.

Ie. They’d be sensible with the recruitment and still not be afraid to punch up.

It’s been great having Moyes back and I’m more than happy to let him have at it.

Yesterday they were absent owners who cant even say hello.
Today they are limelight hugging fame chasers

I cant wait to see what they are tomorrow.

Impressive AI you have there Dave, the way it can fit anything to fit an agenda is very good, sadly its not very consistent and is quite frankly all over the show.

Snot face quit, get over it.

What if we have an ambitious, dour manager?

Or owners who turn up every week but only so they can tuck into the hospitality?

What if we have dour owners and an absentee manager, but they’re all dead ambitious?

And why do we deserve better? What’s the criteria for determining if a fanbase is good and deserves nice things?

I think we should be told.
Wait you saying moyes is ambitionless? The manager talking about actually winning games, manager who wanted to win the FA cup so put out a strong team even though got liverpool couple of days later, or the one who won a cup with last team he managed?

There’s a very big and obvious difference between making up transfer stories etc for clicks or filler and making up the length of a contract for a factual piece. It would be extraordinarily odd for every major news outlet to all run with the same incorrect information, it seems fairly obvious that the info was given to them even if we didn’t put it in our own statement.

Its so easy to tell who goes the match (or has gone in recent years) from the online only hipsters on here. I'm not saying that people who don't/can't go to the match don't know what they're talking about as some fans who never go are incredibly knowledgeable. Its just that the disconnect between those who do and those who clearly don't has never been more obvious......

Why wouldn’t TFG get credit? They brought Moyes in. Did Johnson get the blame when Howard failed to return triumphantly?

The owners won’t give a toss who a manager was employed by before if he does the job for them.

You don’t need to come up with all these excuses and incredibly weak reasons. We all know you hate Moyes.
