We were a basket case when Dyche came in. He steadied the ship, and then seemed to find a way for us to create chances and win games. The turning point for me was the loss at home to Bournemouth when he basically admitted that he saw the game disappearing and couldn't do anything about it. He should have resigned after that game, as it was clear he'd lost his way.
We were a basket case when he went out as well.

Woke up today and the first thing I thought of was David Moyes is our manager, so I rolled over and had an another hour.

Thanks Moyes.

I stubbed my toe coming out of the shower, and was about to shout expletives when I remembered Moyes was our manager. Then the pain was gone and everything felt better.

Thanks Moyes.

You almost have to look at Moyes as two very different people. Who he was early in his career here and how he left is one version. Who he is now is much calmer and precise. He’s got life experience and maturity way beyond what he had in his 40’s. You see it in his approach to the match and how he speaks to the media. Your whole outlook in life changes the older you get. I’m 100% behind him.

It's evolution, Dyche was ok in the final days of a catastrophic regime, all was doom and gloom around the club and Dyche thrived on that, he had them battling , sitting behind the ball and blaming every body else for the shortcomings of the team. Enter the new owners, they are not content with a manager who just talks about how bad things were when he came here, they were more interested in having somebody who had some suggestions as to how we could improve the situation. When they sat down with Dyche and said they would back him in the window and what did he need to progress, he knew he had been thrown a gauntlet and declined to pick it up. He preferred to say he didn't think he could take us any further.

Enter Moyes,he had a plan to progress things, and although he is not long-term, he is the ideal man to build a foundation for the man who comes next. Moyes knows he's not a long term manager here, but, he will take a pride in laying those foundations.
