Thought he spoke quite well. Managed to avoid a couple of pitfalls by not mentioning Kenwright and injected a bit of positivity and actually talked us up a bit and offered a bit of hope talking about elite players. Better than listening to that festering scotch egg anyway.

You would never have heard Dyche give an answer like this to this question. Mind you Dyche never actually answered any question honestly.

Asked about how he envisions his Everton side to play, Moyes admitted that results this season are the priority but he does plan to develop his philosophy once Premier League status has been secured.

“I’m going to try and play to win as many games as I possibly can to get myself out of this position.” the 61-year-old said.

“Then, I’ll start thinking about how my style is going to develop and what I’m going to do to make that work.

He hid it well but I think he took a dim view of the players. He was given multiple opportunities to big them up and he passed every time and instead threw the challenge down to them.
