That's hardly accurate, for example someone could be at a club for 4 games and win them all and that would put them at the top of the list.

Does that make them a better manager than Sir Alex? Ofcourse it doesn't.

I make no secret of the fact I think there is a huge myth regarding Moyes but the moral of crap like this is never depend on stats alone.

More Eddie Howe stats, he kept Bournemnouth in the football league having taken over the reigns whilst the club were in the relegation zone and a massive 17 points adrift. He then took the club to promotion the next year, with a second place finish. despite a transfer embargo. During his current spell at bournemouth he ahs a 63.64% win ratio. I would be interested to see how he does in the championship, but he seems to be following a similar career trajectory to moyes. If moyes goes in the summer, I think Howe is someone we should look at to replace him.

Agreed, get Howe in FFS

In fact, get him groomed Moyles lad

Shocking assessment. It's about as accurate as BMI.

Why on earth they paraded this like it was a great find or that a load of thought went in to it, I don't know.

Add net spend in to the equation and you might have a more accurate result.

It is really shoddy. I mean not accounting for financial differences or existing quality of squad is one thing, not even accounting for number of games or which league the wins were in is quite another.

big farewell to Fergie - winning the league by a mile and winning the FA CUP -
go out with a bang ! -
that is at least how i see it - let's wait and see ........

judging by the posts in this thread I don't think I'll bother reading it.

Nice to see the BBC spending our license fees on ground breaking, insightful surveys. [Poor language removed].

It isn't intuitive at all. It is weighing all English leagues equally and ranking a winning percentage between the lot of them. Which is why if you pull out the lower league teams and combine coach records for teams with coaching changes it would read exactly like the standings table.

It is a complete joke of a "study" and should be mocked at will.

This...

I can't decide who I want between David Flitcroft and Brian Flynn. With such impressive records we would be guaranteed Champions League.

Amazing that Rafael is only 0.01 ahead of Moyes.
