He's 27, he's an awful player, he'll want a bigger wage than Pienaar, he's injury prone, fat and slow. He couldn't perform on loan at Birmingham or West Ham.

Seriously though, Bentley once upon a time yeh, he was good, but went to Spuds, got his talent spoilt, went to West Ham on loan and picked up a bad knee injury and hasnt played since!.

He was raw talent at 19 when he thought he was the new David Beckham....when in fact he is just the new David Dunn
Alot of players mature later on in their careers like a good cheese.
However, Bentley is less of a fine Stillton and more like a mouldy old babybell going off and starting to smell.
The lad has something given a chance for me, if nothing else he has product going into the box - i wouldnt be wholly against this.
