He hit a belter today and whipped in a boss ball for Kevin in midweek. It's not like he's not going to cross or shoot at all. It's going to inhibit him slightly, sure, but it's not an issue as he'll still find the right ball nine times out of ten anyway and it's not like we'll miss his goals or his set-pieces as Mirallas is back and is taking them well.

He doesn't need a rest. Players perhaps looking off the pace doesn't automatically equate to them needing a rest. He's missed a lot of the season which is why he's 95% rather than 100%. If anything, he needs more games to get him back into the swing even more than he is now.

I meant playing him in sparingly to get the best out of him.

We'll see how he fairs when we play the better sides. Any injuries get shown up when players go up against stronger sides.

If his thigh pops and he's injured for the rest of the season because of it, using him or other players with injuries could've provent it.

I just think we should use the squad more.

this, when i was playing i looked unfit and needed a rest but what i really needed was more games. I still looked unfit like

Just a quick reminder for the Kone bashing going on.

He could well be sh*te but he could well also be a bit Gibson. We just don't know yet, so let's give him the opportunity to impress us/compound our fears first. Call it courtesy.

1 cost 500k, the other 5m.

Its less of risk 1 way.

One proved he could score goals, the other couldn't get a sniff of the first team. Different levels of club but all Premier League the same. Were Everton aren't we? So why are we already throwing the mockers on a lad who's signed in good faith and hasn't even played a minute for us?

Bell behaviour.

Im willing to judge the lid on how he performs on the green area.

I feel its only fair.

Aye and if he turns out crap then acknowledge it as a mistake. No problem with that.

It would seem FM2013 has addled the brains of some who only want us to sign their approved players.

For 5m Kone could do the business in an area we struggle in. But we don't know yet so let's wait until then.
