Very good today, looked a lot fitter than last week. If he stays fit imagine how he will play in a few weeks time when others are tired over christmas. Absolutely vital player over the next month or so.

Am I going too far to say he was world class today?

Seriously though he was my motm, so calm on the ball and some of the balls he was pinging out to Coleman, Baines, Mirallas, etc. were simply outstanding in their consistency of dropping right at them or in their running path.

As soon as he is winning the ball he is looking at playing that ball over the top or down the flanks but does not panic when it is not there.
