I haven't played it much but I made a half-hearted Serie A team I could play you with if you want!

It's ridiculous that Gibson isn't playing for Ireland. The salt in the wound was when Trapattoni saw fit to introduce Paul 'ex-DCFC right-back' Green ahead of Gibbo.

If I was Gibson I'd be fuming. But then again this is the manager who treats players like Long, Hoolahan, McCarthy, Wilson, Clark, Coleman like they don't exist.

Watching Ireland I got to see first hand how poor mcgeady is. In it's only ever been rumours but I don't want to ever see him in a royal blue shirt!

The reason ireland is so poor is that there highest ranked player (gibson) cant even get in the team. Some people have been stomping on trap (senile) but i think the current crop is just poor. I dont think he could have done much better, still like him to leave and a new man could blood a whole new team.

Argue over spartak better than everton if you want.

Ireland sucks right now. Not one world class player. Not one player who would get onto the roster for 2/3 of their opponents in this group. Based upon rosters only, they did what they were supposed to do. Lose 3 times.

No. Exactly the same subs as the first game. Walters, Long, Cox on with McGeady, Doyle, Keane off.

I see from twitter that Phil Neville even expressed his bemusement at the lack of Gibson playing.

But back to Gibbo, shocking he wasnt even given a run out, he's miles better than both Whelan and Andrews, lot more class and composed on the ball.

Wont complain though cos he'll come back to us for pre-season fresh and raring to go against his old club first game of the season!.
