I can't see the pic but I'm guessing it would make it clearer to me that you are being sarcastic? Or not?

Nah was a good point. Chicoazul's got you para lid.

So he went out on the piss with some players and Fergie fobbed him off onto us, is that right?

No. But it's clearly evident that Fergie was absolutely seething over that night out. He dropped Rooney all together and slapped him with a huge fine. I think any slim chance of him staying was obliterated with that.

Think he will be a decent signing nothing special though

Biggest worry is he drives Barkley futher down the pecking order

This definitely. But while I don't particularly agree with Moyes I believe that if used at all Barkley would be played further up that Gibson, or on the wings where he is less likely to make a bad mistake.

I'm not exactly welcoming him with open arms but I suppose we just have to make the best of it?!

I think he will do well for us tbh, we need goals and we need people who can aren't scared to shoot from outside the box, apparently he isn't as **** as what he gets made out to be, i've heard quite the opposite.

Ye he could do well mate. It's easy for Man U fans to say he's ****e when they're used to Rooney, Nani, Vidic, Hernandez, Giggs etc you get my drift!

This! He is maybe **** for ManU but really not for us.. Sadly, we are an average team.. He should be at least a decent player for us.

Thinking about it a defensive midfield 3 of Fellaini, Rodwell and Gibson with a front 3 of a striker we may bring in and Drenthe/Donovan on the two wings doesn't sound too bad...

Darron Gibson will sign for Everton on Friday. Agreed four-and-a-half-year contract today. Fee approx £1.5m. Bargain.

Right, looks nailed on then.

Welcome Gibbo lad. Work your socks off, shoot at goal every now and again and we'll get on fine.

From tomorrow's Echo:

Chairman Bill Kenwright was delighted to seal the £9.2m transfer of Darron Gibson from Manchester United stating "this proves the money from Arteta was well spent" before further advising that half season tickets are still available...
