Dark times lads, what now?

With respect that's madness. The problem isn't that the player we have are rubbish as arguably a worse squad than this coasted to 7th last year. The problem is that we've signed more players than any other team in the league; regularly field at least 5/6 new signings each week; in a lineup that is constantly changing; and the poor results have dented their confidence.

Signing a bunch of new players would just make it worse imo. The team aren't a team at the moment because none of them know how the other plays. This was compounded by Koeman playing a different lineup every game, and often a different formation. The players need some consistency, both of selection and tactics.

Do that and they will improve, but it will take time. I'm almost inclined to write this season off and consider a success as bedding in a shed load of new signings, and keeping us up.
Only new signings in the team today we're Pickford and Rooney and we're still terrible. The "team needs to gel" ship sailed a while back mate, our squad isn't good enough. And we have no strikers.

This Everton team just isn't able to win for love nor money. We've only had two league wins since August. We couldn't even beat an average Italian side and a bum outfit from Cyprus. This is the bleakest since the Walter Smith era.But at least in the Smith era we had guy's who would give it their all, like David Weir, Alan Stubs, Steve Watson, Duncan Ferguson and Kevin Campbell. We had warriors and they helped keep our heads above water. This current Everton team has no real warriors in it.They are soft and spineless. That's why im so worried. They have no heart for battle.Everton right now are just as much a shambles as Villa, the season they went down.

That's probably the lowest number we've had all season, and I doubt we've fielded the same XI two games in a row once. If Walsh and Koeman had a plan for the #1 XI then they did a great job of hiding it as it's been chop and change all season.

Seriously, what's next for us? I can't see past some proven tinker man a'la Allardyce taking over now.

If we get relegated, we're done for years.
This is my worry, who in their right mind would take on Williams, Sigurdsson, Klaassen, Sandro, Rooney etc.. on the ridiculous wages we've got them on. Whoever has been in charge of recruitment for this club the past two years has absolutely ruined us.

Imagine being in such a mess after the biggest spending spree in the club's history and that far Dutch clown gets 10 million for the privilege
