dapper laughs cancelled by ITV

There was a vine I saw on Twitter the other week. He walks up to this woman and says something like "Can I smell your fanny love?" And the woman says no obviously, so he walks on saying something like "Well it must be your perfume then". And ITV thought it'd be sound to offer him a tv show and not expect a backlash.
 

Amazing how anybody can make it on TV now, as a young naive kid i would say it was a great thing, now i have matured a little, all i see it absoloute blerts on every channel. Geordie Shore, TOWIE, Dapper Laughs, one shows that having drunken random sex with nob heads is a good thing, (if she puts effort in then its ok ;)) the second shows you can be thick as Emile Heskeys rear end and still make shed loads of money and the third guy is quite simply a tWit. Give me the likes of David Jason & the two ronnies anyday - they are the meaning of good TV, harmless fun and great characters whoever they play.

That's quite an old joke anyway. If you're going to be offensive at least be original FFS.
 
There was a young woman on channel 4 news yesterday evening, she's the one responsible for having 'blurred lines' banned from her university or some such bullspit. Anyway, she was banging on about this twerp and how apparently he's responsible for the daily 'cat calls' she receives on the street and being pestered when she goes out in evening to bars.

Who'd have thought it.

He was responding to claims that his show was a rapist's almanac, he said you can't rape women, some girl in the crowd says she was "gagging for a rape" and he repeats her statement.

I don't understand what he's done wrong...
 
Never heard of him before but all looks pretty harmless stuff to me, bit repetitive and unfunny with some amusing bits as well. Think you have to remember he's a comedy character and not a real person...I think it looks like he's more taking the p!ss out of lads with that attitude to birds than actually being one but some people will always take offence at things like this, Especially when its on main stream TV. result: not arsed either way.
