Reidy's Bottle Of Grecian

The Unobstructed View
Everton are tracking Spanish starlet Dani Toribio, skysports.com understands.

The Toffees are closely following the 21-year-old - who has been one of the revelations of this season's La Liga campaign.

Toribio is currently with Malaga, having begun his career in Barcelona's youth ranks.

He failed to make the breakthrough at Camp Nou and was picked up by Malaga in 2009 - but he did not take long to break into their first team.

Now Toribio is attracting attention after a string of impressive displays as Malaga's holding midfielder.

Everton are understood to have watched Malaga's recent games with Espanyol, Barcelona and Real Madrid - and Toribio impressed the English scouts.

Toribio, nicknamed Rocky by his team-mates, insists he is more than happy at Malaga - where he has two-and-a-half years left on his current contract.

And Evertonians scramble to load footy manager to find out about him.

Won't come cheap by the sounds of it, I really hope Bill gives us some cash before/during the world cup and we aren't scrambling for freebies at the arse end of August

Hey, if he was brought up in Barcas youth squad, he'll be a bloody good passer.

Go for him.

I've never heard of this player until it was mentioned.

He's on Facebook as it happens. :dodgy:

Doesn't have a Wikipedia page also.

watched him at malaga's ground against Santander i think, while I was on holiday over there looked a quality player not an out an out holding midfielder good tackler though, he is more of a Fernandes type player
