Love this song.

Used to like drum n bass when I was younger. Was at raves most weekends. Bit old for all that now though. Ed Rush was my favourite back then.

Quality. Loved that album when it came out. Listened to it loads.

Or this sort of thing if I fancied something a bit different.

A lot of time spent dancing in fields back then.

A lot of time spent dancing in fields back then.

Got that on vinyl, I've got tonnes of that stuff, Routemaster, SUF, Smitten, Cluster, Havok etc. Still play it in fields and abandoned buildings occasionally, although like you I'm getting a bit old for it and you're more likely to catch me playing reggae these days. My mates used to run a couple of free party soundsystems back in the day.

That's like that cybergoth stuff init.

I went into a club a bit like that before. Not full of cybergoths but playing this sort of music. I literally stood there gurning my tits off, sweating like a ****ing maniac and stomping my feet staring at a wall. Horrific.

Thats hilarious. I once went to the Pleasure Rooms in Liverpool full of proper ****ing evil ninjas in black and proper skank orange girls.

we met two dutch felllas who escorted us from the strippers, and gave us some tablets, all i can remember is dancing like you just described.

epic, i was so happy for days!!

Yeah I used to know a few dj's so would get in free at places if I carried their record bag or something. Good times though. Much preferred brocking out for a night than getting drunk. Quite often used to go swim training having not slept and still buzzing from the night before. Folly of youth.

Love house/dance music, pretty much like all the people mentioned in the first post but gone off the Swedes a bit of late. GOing to Magaluf with me mates in the summer and will get to see some of my favouirtes such as Afrojack and the Bingo Players and a few others. Gutted a bit about the dates we are going though because we miss Calvin Harris by one day and Avicii is on the day we go home.

One of my favourites:

I love trance, but I'm no expert. I love Tiesto, Chicane, Oakenfefld, AVB etc. I also like a lot of chilled out electronica, but I wouldn't classify a lot of that as "dance".

Back in my rave days in the 90's full of X, young girls, and staying up all night, we used to go see Sasha who was the big name back then whenever he was in town.

A bit dated, but here's a prime example of the kind of "dance" music I like. This song is out of this world.

Ahh I missed this thread, well happy with this.

I went to see Guetta as I said the other day for a mates bday, I was suprised he was actually pretty good, he didn't play much mainstream music he took it back old school. He even knocked all the lights off for 10mins and said lets do old school rave and played some awesome tunes.

Nicky Romero was on before him though and was absolutely outstanding really excellent, 2nd best DJ I have seen so far behind Afrojack who was excellent a couple of years ago.

Seen Nervo as well who were decent.
