Daily Mirror Reporting Nike Deal

I understand the club jibbing them if it gets more cash in. What I laugh at though is if you trawl the archives on the LQS deal announcement you have Elstone talking all the romance of the great nostalgic link-up and how it'll be maybe a harbinger for future successes - an inspiration etc etc etc.

The insincerity of these machine/humans AKA as bizniss people never fails to amuse me. I cant wait to hear what Bob has to say about the sooper dooper new link up with NIKE.

When this was first brought up ages ago it was mentioned that it was because LCS is quitting the shirt thing all together.

Liverpool Echo:

Reports elsewhere today that the deal will result in David Moyes being handed a £10m transfer war-chest are wide of the mark, with the Blues set to prosper more in marketing opportunities than by an immediate up-front influx of cash.

Didn't think it would be that much, not a chance in hell

I dont understand this. We strike a deal with Nike and they dont pay anything?

Is this like the workfare scheme where kids work for **** all in supermarkets but are 'rewarded' by beefing up their cv?

Only Everton.

Mail reporting its the same or similar deal to the last one...ie average.

But it will hopefully open the brand up world wide. Which won't happen if the kitbag deal is exclusive

Oh FFS.

Nice work Elstone.

This feller couldn't sell a warm meal to a ****ing Eskimo.

The kitbag deal is the sticking point I think. If its exclusive, no shirts will be sold outside of that deal.

If its not and theres an avenue to sell shirts etc outside of kitbag, great.

But we all know the possible outcome.

They obviously know we're going to sign LD and want to exploit the commercial possibilities that would produce.

Worth at least 2million shirt sales in america i'd say. This is going to be so awesome. Watch out Citeh.

Kit bag have connections with lcs and nike- hence the new deal. If no kit bag then no nike
