From a neutral perspective (taking out size of fanbases who hate their rivals' players half on principle), Diouf must be the least popular player to ever step foot on a Premiership pitch. He's spat on opponents, has regularly cheated through diving, has a massive temper which he unleashes on opponents, refs, fans and now ballboys.

He's a disgrace, and it's a real shame the talent he has was wasted on him, because he doesn't deserve it, or the profile it gives him through media attention. It's ultimately, only attention he's crying out for. The best thing that could happen is if he was completely ignored. Unfortunately, because of the impact he has on games, be it through positive football or negative cheating, it is influential. Couldn't be bestowed upon a worse character.

the lack of action just shows the double standards of the fa.
like i said the other week , the clamp down on racism is clearly a one way street. if osman abuses a black ball boy in the same way for eg , he would be forced out of football and be the subject of a witch hunt in every source of media.

i am disgusted at the lack of action against diof.in fact it seems its all been swept under the carpet.

the fa's 'lets kick racism out of football' campaign has lost all credability in my eyes.

Sorry , Dennis , but this is without parallel . This beaut not only incited , but then " played the race card " to get out of it . He made his mistake with the bananas and hopefully it's what will ultimately hang him . It was beyond any precedent , with Cantona perhaps the closest .

I'm not excusing his actions, quite the opposite. I was just reflecting on how we've recently seen another player charged with improper conduct after a goal celebration, which I would consider far less offensive, & yet this scum-bag will probably not have any action taken against him at all.

yet still he plays, no retraction of the statement that we "showered him with bananas", ban this clown and revoke his visa.

Oh we showered the -hole with bananas. Thank god Kenwright used some of the Lescott money to install a super-secret instant banana absorbing pitch before the match so that they escaped the eyes of the officials and all the TV cameras and we get off scott-free. Genius.
