It's pretty grim today, and especially grim to see Froome being dropped on the climb before Cav. He's really a long way off.
After today it's Froome you look at with raised eyebrows?I mean it's almost like he's returned to what he was pre Sky days...
Hmmm

I don't doubt that Pogacar is the best in this race. I do doubt that he could put 3 minutes into a Grand Tour winner and the winner of the Tour de Suisse in 16km of climbing. Since cycling has supposedly cleaned up we've dealt with time gaps in the seconds. To get gaps of that much on a single climb you're going back to Armstrong on Hautucam in 2000.he is 22 years old, has been a stand out in all youth cycling levels.
the other was a complete donkey, who was best known for taking a wrong turn in the commonwealths until team sky gave him some fluffy pillows and banned him from nutella

Yeah, I said to my wife, that I "don't believe" Pogacar's ride today. From experience those kind of rides belong to a darker era in cycling.I don't doubt that Pogacar is the best in this race. Pogacar disputing the notion you need a team to win a grand tour.

It'll all come out in the wash, but it was one of the most remarkable performances I've seen for a very, very long time. Taking that much time out of your rivals without them cracking horribly just doesn't happen.Pogacar disputing the notion you need a team to win a grand tour.

I hope so, because it was spellbinding watching him climb, I want to believe, you know?Looks better than it was due to the weak field. No Yates, Bernal. Roglic goosed from a crash, froome not juiced.
Pogacar is a one in a generation talent, like contador and merxc
His time trial last year was more remarkable for me. But this lad is a serial winner. Mate... they are all juiced. Just some look brilliant doing it and others tell everyone their dominance is down to fluffy pillowsI hope so, because it was spellbinding watching him climb, I want to believe, you know?
Yeah, fair enough. I am that naive it's a miracle that the Nigerian prince sent me the diamonds he promised.Mate... they are all juiced. Just some look brilliant doing it and others tell everyone their dominance is down to fluffy pillows
