I'm confident that they'll break UAE. I'm less confident they'll break Pogacar. He showed in Tirreno he can handle things and then give some back on these kind of days.Looks like today is the day UAE bend or break, attacks coming from all directions.
I agree, but it's quite the target he has on his back for the next couple of weeks.I'm confident that they'll break UAE. I'm less confident they'll break Pogacar. He showed in Tirreno he can handle things and then give some back on these kind of days.
Certainly a lot of super big classics engines in that front group. They're not going to be easy to pull back and I wouldn't be too surprised if the winner doesn't come from that front group already. It's whether the GC big boys can put real pressure on Pogacar today.I agree, but it's quite the target he has on his back for the next couple of weeks.
I can't see anything but Pogacar on the top step of the podium come Paris, but he's not going to get much help.
Total Energie will need to get involved for Latour, also Ineos might have to help later on too.Asgreen, Gilbert, the vans, van Baarle, plus GC guys like Nibali and Yates. If that group works together they won't be pulled back as no one will help UAE who certainly don't have the firepower to match that in the front.
Don't think Ineos have anything to gain from chasing. They won't be interested in 2nd or 3rd and should focus purely on breaking Pogacar.Total Energie will need to get involved for Latour, also Ineos might have to help later on too.
