The table list the correct times only for the first 10 but you are correct. Lopez is 03 ': 43'' minutes behind the leader.

Poor Lopez he is been having a rough Tour already and given how behind he is, it is going to be very complicated for him to get a good outcome out of this edition.

There will be quite a few strong riders going for stages, but we've also seen in this race so far that you can easily crash and lose big time. Before yesterday, for instance, you'd have said Ineos were having a torrid race, and yet yesterday saw both Roglic and Pogacar lose out due to crashes and Carapaz is the best of the GC contenders. Probably best to forget the GC until the first time trial is done and then see how it looks.

Tomorrow's TT on a busted shoulder doesn't sound like much fun for Thomas - it will be agony squared. But yet again he renews his acquaintance with his old friend the tarmac. Be surprised if he is in contention after that but he is an excellent TTer so perhaps he can pull something out.

I agree. I can see Quintero doing well in some of the mountain stages but right now everything seems out in the open for GC contenders. And if crashes continue at the rate they have been happening for the past few days then a lot can be altered in terms of positioning and who would be victorious at the end of the Tour. But I’m always cheering for Colombian riders so my hope is that they do well and don’t crash anymore.

Good action by the peloton at the beginning of today’s race. Riders have the right to protest and demand better safety measures for them and their teams.
