And, to be clear...I'm implying vehicular dogslaughter.
I'd have to wash my car though, FFS

Unfortunately the dog's got that chase instinct...problem's the owner.
Run the owner over tooUnfortunately the dog's got that chase instinct...problem's the owner.
OhRunning over the owner wouldn't solve the dog problem and would leave a huge mess on my car

I respect the fact I didn't have to suggest it...
He's showing a lot of respect for his car...I'm not getting true cyclist vibes here. Acceptance in to the cycling community will be a long road.
I don't think I'll ever be accepted, I don't shave my legs
You need to choose some road pedals, which will come with their own cleats (usually, need to check when you buy), which then screw into any pair of road cycling shoes.I've a road bike that I've had for about 7 years. It's a basic enough bike (Giant Defy 3, I think it is), I don't get out anywhere near enough to warrant spending big on a bike or parts/kit for it. The pedals are the standard ones that came with it...just like flat pedals with some fabric straps/cage things to keep your feet a bit more in contact. Not clip-in ones.
I want to get some cycling shoes and new pedals so I can clip in. Any recommendations for shoes and pedals I'd need? How do I know what pedals and cleats I'd need? Probably want to spend no more than £100/150 at the most for the shoes.
I use both MTB and Road SPDs on my road bikes and there's not much in it. I would recommend MTB SPDs when starting off. Being able to walk around is a huge plus, easier to clip in at junctions, lights etc.I've a road bike that I've had for about 7 years.
