Be made up if Bardet is in yellow this time next weekend - a French rider hasn't won the Tour since before we last won the league.
 

I'd like to nominate that Gendarme shoving the bloke with the Columbian flag into a ditch as my moment of the Tour so far.

Told you; he should have went. If there are so many team mates that means you're going too slow. The only possible reason now is that he wants his teammates for the remainder of the stage and he is confident that he's able to create a gap on the last col (level 4) because he has done good reckon. Alternatively he isn't good enough, also possible.

Maybe, they wanted Froome to kill himself getting back on and will then do him on the final climb.
