He's always there or there abouts in lots of stage finishes and has been there towards the end of classics a few times (I think he won one of the smaller ones [maybe e3 harelbeke?] a few years ago). It feels like he's been around forever, under a lot of pressure from media hype, without really doing much so maybe he could finally breakthrough and achieve something a little bigger this year, we'll just have to wait and see.
I didn't think he had the legs today. Looked a bit short of his usual oomph a few times, but great to see him pull it off. Nice to see Wiggins still around towards the end too. Hopefully he'll continue to put in some decent shifts, starting next weekend.
