Player Valuation: £35m
Carlo Cudicini has signed for Spurs on a free transfer. Cant help thinking why we never went in for him to give Howard a bit more to think about. I like Howard dont get me wrong, but our cover is'nt that strong in my opinion. Its not as if Cudicini would have minded warming the bench, i mean thats all he done at Chelsea.

Could've been a good back up keeper for us.
But he's probably on 50K a week to be on the bench so that's why he went to Spurs.

Harry was always bound to make a good signing in the end, Gomes has to be the most consistantly poor keeper I've seen since Taibi...

Cudicini will do wonders for the confidence of their back 4 - unfortunately, they won't be getting relegated now.

I'd have him over howard everydayof the week

Cudicini hasn't played regulary for about three seasons, he'll be very sluggish and will probably still make mistakes.

Howard hasn't hardly put a foot wrong for us in the time he's spent here. (unlike at Manutd) He's guaranteed about 10 clen sheet each season and his statistics show he is one of the best keepers Everton in the last twenty five years.

Gomes was a beast for PSV, his last few seasons there he was easily their best player. I don't know what's happened to him now he's over here.

I've seen him make a lot of mistakes on the few times he actually played. He's also 35 now as well. Can't be worse than Gomes has been though. Hell you could buy a Wallbanger of Casillias, stick it on piece of cardboard and you'd have a better keeper than Gomes.
