Better as a wing back than a full back. He was half way decent today.
I found his performance odd today. He was ok when he got forward but didn't do enough of anything for me. Davies was the hard working one up ahead on the right , and behind Keane had a lot of defensive work to cope with , with little cover ahead if him. If he'd played right back in a four he would probably have got forward as much , offered a bit more defensively and we could have cut out Williams in favour of , well anybody. This hindsight is a wonderful thing.

Played well I thought. Do we reckon he'll get a run of games at right back now ahead of Holgate or is Mason going to come straight back in when we play a flat 4?

In fairness to him, him and Davies are the only ones with any sort of forward pace and that is something we are desperate for. So for me he should play and other players need to fill in more defensively on the right

Certainly not his fault today. Gave as much as can be expected with his limited ability.
Enthusiastic going forward but awful defensively. Constantly out of position, tackling from behind and jogging around in circles chasing the ball playing piggy in the middle instead of taking a decent defensive position.
Take one moment to watch him off the ball and it becomes apparent just how ill equipped he is to play top flight football. Not a Premier League defender by any stretch of the imagination and not nearly clever enough with the ball to play a more advanced position.

We'd get murdered. If your playing full-backs and wingers they both need to put a shift in when defending and be positionally aware. Cuco doesn't have it in him and is not actually that good going forward.
Willing? Yes. Capable at the top level? No.
