As an important and costly error it was, it was the only mistake Holgate made in the game. I can't remember the last time Sane didn't get a kick.

Probably shrewd player management from RK. Cuco covers quite a few km/game and might need resting

The lad hasn't had a pre-season and didn't play much football last season, it was obvious he was going to be rusty to start with. After a shocking first game he's got better and he'll be a more than able deputy for Seamus. He'll never lose the whipping boy tag though

As for Martina getting games ahead of Jonjoe Kenny, I'll trust the judgement of our very well paid and experienced football manager over a few know-alls on here. He clearly thinks Kenny's not quite ready just yet, but he'll hopefully get a few run outs through the season as part of his development

Played well again tonight his best performance so far for me. He's obviously gaining in confidence and looked comfortable all game.
