Even if it did, what does that matter? Just hold on and wait for it to rise again. No one knows what will happen so it could possibly plummet and never recover but bitcoin can lose thousands and gain thousands in a matter of hours. Last Thursday it was trading around the same value it was today and inbetween this week it hit an all time high at £15k, wouldn't be surprised if it does the same again this week.

I'm coming more and more to the opinion that the higher the price goes, the less likely it is to crash as there is a lot invested/riding on it and people will do their utmost to protect that.
