To be fair, the question wasn't whether he's a good person, merely whether the Canadian central bank is significant enough to warrant listening to, which it clearly is.
...in your opinion... not in mine (unless I'm trading the loonie...which, as a commodity currency, I occasionally do).
Thank you though, for your valued input...but the Canadian Central Bank is an insignificant irrelevance in a cryptocurrency thread.

surely you have to understand that the opinions of any central bank or banker with regards what is clearly a rival for their business has to be treated with extreme caution or better still disregarded completely.

Ethereum is being backed by Intel, Microsoft and IBM... As soon as Amazon picks one to back (Ethereum most likely) then we will have a winner.

Im buying Ethereum and a couple of others currently.

Hope being the operative word because jealousy is exactly what is fuelling most people's, including your's, negativity around this matter.

But here's a reason why the establishment continues to preach "only invest what you are prepared to lose" or "only invest 1% or less of your savings." And it has nothing to do at all with protecting you from your own stupid decision making.

It's because they know Bitcoin is literally going to go to the moon, and they don't want entire nations of people retiring early. No working = no income = no tax collecting. They desperately need to collect income taxes from everyone until your 65. Without that the whole ponzi system would collapse.

I think most people are ripping you on this because you're always Mr Negative on the forum, and seeing you enthusiastic about something is actually quite unsettling !

Yep by the time you have gotten so drunk and taken out another hundred from the cash point. Lost half of it and the taxi home it's probably more like £200! :)
Wasn't long ago I remember withdrawing £20 at a cash point, having a great evening in the pub and a curry, and still having change.
Mind you, I always enjoy walking 3 - 6 miles home rather than use a taxi or bus ... It clears the head, and you always see some entertaining drunk!
