I have thought about buying some Bitcoins for my pocket but from what I can gather their magical properties turn you into a ranting buffoon. I'm out.

Really?? People were telling me this on here three monthsa ago....they have nearly trebilled since then, some experts saying coiuld go on another 200-300%

I agree, but that's the inherent problem. How do you know if something is undervalued if there's no reasonable method of valuation?

Or is there one we're missing?

Cost to mine can give you a basic fundamental value, supply, scarcity and demand then give you a market price. No different from Gold, really. In countries with unreliable currencies and social upheaval, crypto is seen as a vital way to preserve your personal wealth.

That was said at $30, $100, $1000, $10000. Institutional money is only getting properly involved now. It has only hit mainstream consciousness in the past couple of months. Huge tech companies (Intel, Microsoft, Google) are starting to invest in crypto, as are banks and financial institutions. Give me a reason why it will go nowhere but down?

I know plenty of companies that are dabbling in blockchain, but haven't heard many are doing so in Bitcoin. Can you link us up?

Great feature on Bitcoin on today's Dailly politics today - the guy who wrote a book on it advocates it got didled on it himself?
