Do online drug dealers accept payment in HEX?
I highly doubt it.

I know you and many other posters here like to proudly and virtuously criticize crypto for how it is only used for illegal things, but it really is an uniformed position to take.

You can see from this link that in 2021, illicit crypto volume was 0.15% of total transactions. Total transaction volume in 2021 was around 15trillion. Meaning this 0.15% equates to about 1.5 billion (if my napkin maths is correct)

When compared to traditional crime/money laundering it is laughably small. The UN office for drugs and crime says the following on it's website - 'The estimated amount of money laundered globally in one year is 2 - 5% of global GDP, or $800 billion - $2 trillion in current US dollars'

The following study puts the global drug trade somewhere between 200 billion and 600 billion which is over 2 orders of magnitude bigger than the total illicit crypto volume and that is just the drug trafficking.

I saw it as more of a potential positive! I still don't know what HEX is for, if not that.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The whole point in doing drug deals and buying kids with crypto is that its under the radar and leaves no trial.

Get out of here with this.

Leaves no trail? Shows how clueless you are. A blockchain is a PUBLIC LEDGER, it is trivially easy to see how much crypto goes in and out of dark web market places.
