Crying

I know. . I know... but.... following a conversation I had with somebody earlier where do you stand on crying ? When did you last cry (not Everton related ) and what are your thoughts on men crying.

Hope nobody cries over this thread ffs.

Honestly I haven't cried since childhood. I'm almost 40. It's not because I'm macho or bottling anything up, I just don't do it. In moments of stress I've exploded so shout around or smashed up an object or two, but never taken it out on a person, not even myself in the form of crying.

I feel like I'm missing out on some huge emotional release. I do get goosepimps at favourite bits of music, and re-watching Excalibur (80's film) for the first time in decades made me sort of well-up a bit when Arthur regained his strength after drinking from the Grail. But a lump in throat and slight stingy-feeling behind the eyes is as far as it went.

I Cried nearly 3 years ago, when my dog was put to sleep 5 mins after i was told he had cancer, dog looked very well even at 16 and a half years old,but had not ate anything for 2 days and was on heart tablets for heart mumous etc, crying was something i dont even do when a relative etc has passed away,

Why is men crying such a big taboo in the UK? It's just a neurological reaction.

I've literally never not cried at the death of a loved one or a pet.
i cried on Sunday when the ice cream man didn’t turn up and I needed munchies but couldn’t be arsed walking the shop

when i saw her last night she held my hand so tight as i stopped to say hello

though she wished me well, she couldnt tell....

in all seriousness i dont cry very often but Only Fools and horses gets me you know!
grandads funeral when del boy says he doesnt know how to grieve
rodney losing the baby and del making him talk about it in the lift
and sheer joy when they get the money!

Took the family to see Coco at the Cinema.... tears in my eyes at the end.... was not expecting that!!
