Crowd Trouble

The fans have paid their money at the gate mate. They can say what they want. It’s their right!

Not when it’s illegal they can’t, and last time I checked racism is illegal in this country. It’s like saying if I paid at the door to enter a night club I have the right to finger all the birds without their consent.

Absolutely spot on. Before we played Kiev in 2015, these were the scenes/events...

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2015/feb/27/crowd-trouble-dynamo-kiev-europa-league-guingamp

"Dynamo Kyiv’s Europa League match with Guingamp had to be halted 15 minutes from the end because of crowd trouble.

The home side were 2-0 up and heading into the last 16 3-2 on aggregate when a group of masked fans fought their way past stewards in a bid to attack supporters of the tiny French club.

The referee suspended the match and the away fans were forced to leave the stadium, before a number of Kyiv supporters began fighting among themselves.

The Kyiv goalkeeper, Oleksandr Shovkovskiy, went into the crowd to try to persuade them to halt the violence, but ended up trying to separate brawling fans and protect a steward who had been knocked to the floor."

A pathetic scuffle between a few players took place in front of the Gwladys Street to which one single fan showed himself up by getting at best, a slap in, and loads on here and on Social Media are crying about how ashamed they are to support the club lol.
No mention of the Lyon players attacking the fans in film it takes two to tango bad behaviour all round started by a poor ref, and fat Ash!
The one fan in the mele rightly banned, but no comments on all the players behaviour?

Amazing how the media are crawling all over this, yes it wasn't great but really? You'd think the fella whipped a weapon out and started massacaring people the way the news has been going on about it. I honestly reckon if it had been our dear neighbours the media would be praising their swift action in punishing the culprit.

All teams have idiots following them, it's just a shame that particular idiot was front and centre for that situation yesterday.

2 or 3 seasons ago at home to Swansea i'm sure it was him who got kicked out for kicking off with the Swansea fans had a 2ish year old kid in his arms, felt sorry for the kid coz he might of been scared, lifetime ban sound but i think grassing him up to the filth after he's probably been a season ticket holder in the PE for years and supported the club through thick and thin is particularly slimey

Remember a few weeks ago when Rooney got caught with that bird pi55ed, loads of our fans were crying, "bringing shame onto our club.." now, it's totally forgotten, history, never to bespoken of again, guess what will happen to this story from last night......

A couple of pushes when the players encroached into the fans area, I don't see any punches on the videos

Williams should get a ban for starting it and swinging like a drunk,

Really not acceptable, but those who weren't there obviously didn't feel the tension and frustration in the ground, no excuse, but the old light of day, it always looks bad.
I thought our crowd was intent on being positive last night, but were let down early by the penalty, this only builds the emotion and then let down again at the end
Also the media hyped on about the boos - don't get that, we clapped our players off the pitch, I thought the boos were for their play acting and the ref cutting short the game to get the late flight back to Schipol.
