The guy with the kid has got a lightweight ready made projectile right there in his arms and he's failed to utilise it, why charge at the Lyon players yourself when you could have taken 2 or 3 of them out with the projectile?

C- for hooliganism
B+ for Parenting.

Plus you can go after a player, and then when they come at you, you can always say "you wouldn't hit a guy carrying a baby would you?" I always bring a baby to the Fenerbahçe - Galatasaray game.

Some of the comments on the Facebook statement from the club are terrible, idiots jumping all over Williams for starting it and blaming the players, sound like a right bunch of Kopites

Every time there's a set of midweek European fixtures innocent fans are getting their heads caved in around the cities where the game is played.

Split away is one example after some fans were taken to hospital by ambulance after being randomly attacked. Though that was relatively minor compared to some other games.

Or even Lyon fans last night on County Rd looking for (and getting) real genuine violence.

Does it ever receive media attention? Nope

Does Uefa give a f..k? Nope

Are there ever any repercussions? Nope

Does anything ever change? Nope

Yet we have one ballbag PUSHING their keeper and it makes headlines around the world!! Even worse, some of our own fans are lapping it all up by claiming a deep sense of shame.

"Embarrassed to call myself a blue" "social services need to pay him a visit" "scum like that aren't real supporters" etc. etc.

Cry me a river ffs.... Nobody got hurt. Nobody was gonna get hurt. It just made for some unpleasant pictures and headlines.

The lad deservedly got his ban (he has no excuses). But let's see the media reaction in 2 weeks time after some blues are randomly attacked while having a quiet drink around Lyon.

It's the world of social media. Everything gets made out to be 100x worse than what it was.

Well said mate agree entirely

The guy is a whopper and deserves to be banned but people are going on about this like the time when Chris Kirkland got face palmed by a Leeds "supporter" when they are in no way comparable.

I expect nothing less from the British media though, they are useless at the best of times.

After watching a few different videos, looks more of a push from the fella with a kid, still silly of him, people have been sent down for less.
