Poor from England, but perhaps poorer from Pakistan to go to the extreme that they did in preparation of that wicket. I know home advantage etc, but there should still be a contest between bat and ball in all forms for a good wicket and good game.
Conversely, India tried the same thing and are about to lose a series vs New Zealand, not sure India have lost a series at home since 2012 was it when Cook led England to victory?

I dont think you can play that aggressive style on wickets that turn that much. You need to be willing to bat time and they weren't

First time in Indias history they've been whitewashed in 3 + test series. Full strength team too, and doctored the pitches to a standard you would see in your back garden. I'd say that's one of crickets greatest achievements.

Livingstone has really come on as a big player. Looked like he might just drift away not so long ago.
