Our bowling attack isn't consistent, which is the problem. I'd rather a bowler uses their pace as a surprise with a focus on accuracy - getting it on target.

….weird thing is, TV commentators suggesting it’s difficult to bat against bowling this erratic because when a good ball hits the right spot it can more easily catch the batter out.

I get that, but the point is I'd rather our bowlers find the right spot through accuracy (intentional) than focusing on pace and getting it by accident.

It feels a bit of 'bowl and hope' at times, although I do appreciate the erratic nature probably does put the batter at some discomfort.

For me, some of the bowlers I faced got you comfortable with balls that you were okay to play but struggled to get runs from, and then caught you out.

Obviously, the best ones were just pretty unplayable and our attack doesn't have that, in my humble opinion.
