He'd only previously had two five wicket hauls in first class matches. He was signed primarily for the limited overs gubbins, but once picked for the championship he hasn't looked back. He's a spinner who actually spins the ball.

Wouldn't be suprised if he's not considered for the Aussies Test team in the next couple of years if he keeps up this form.
