i thought McDonald was a center half. Add Earl Barrett to that list.
He was bought as a Gary Stevens replacement I think mate. Class of 88 like Cottee. I think Stefan Rehn and Atteveld were at that time too.
Barrett was a former day Hibbert, ace defender (Ryan Gigg's hardest opponent!) but even worse than Tony at passing and general togger. Shame, I liked the lid.
