Wonder if we did the right thing in not pursuing Boruc? He started off terrible for S'ton but seems to have found some form.

Boruc comes across as a bit of an arrogant guy. And I think as a goalkeeper he is rather average.

Nothing wrong with wanting first team game time. He's had to battle it out at St Mary's so I'm sure he'd have done the same here. Howard needs a big character competing with him.

I agree with you, but Boruc was not prepared to challenge for a slot,so he would have / did turn us down anyway.

That seems an unreal proposition to put forward by a GK out of the loop and looking for a new club - demanding a well established GK like Howard moves aside immediately!
