This is one of my favourite cover versions. The Stooges original is pretty goddamn primal but the way Spacemen 3 push the riff to the forefront and relegate the vocals to the background takes it to an absolute caveman level. Ace.

Not in the same league as the original of course, but a very fine cover indeed.

That said I think one many would agree on is Jonny Cash's cover of 'Hurt' by Nine Inch Nails.
