The question from the OP should really have been, "should we have signed Michu". We need to get players like that when they're going for £2 million not once they have a decent run in the Premiership and cost £20 million. Moyes used to be King of the bargain basement but hasn't really pulled one of those signings out since signing Coleman and that was lucky, it was probably really the original signing of Pienaar.

Berbatov would of been a great signing for us last summer. Completely understand why we wouldn't go for him given his age and cost with our finances. But he would of made a big difference in that No.10 role.

Michu is looking a top top player but to **** us/moyes off for not getting him is a bit silly. There's a fair few teams who could of benifited from signing him. 3/4 above us in the league.

Asif we could sign Michu now, he would cost the bomb. We have to buy these players at buttons just like Swansea did, that is our level.
He a class signing for Swansea by the way.

No, he will pass his medical, but Everton will pull out of the deal when it becomes apparent that he isn't one of these rare superhumans who are guaranteed to never sustain an injury.

Everton aren't in a position to sign players who might get injured in the future!
