Could we get Michu???

I didn't pay attention to Michu at the start of the season - I just assumed he was having a purple patch and would slow down after a few months - but after watching him for 90 minutes on several occasions I reckon he's the real deal. His first touch and short passing game are excellent, and he's clearly a natural finisher.

He'd miss the willing runners he has at Swansea if he moved somewhere like Everton though.

He's a special player imo.

The reason I'd like to see us get a foreign manager after Moyes is because of what Laudrup has done with Michu and his cheap signings from Spain... Moyes has no idea and has stuck with **** like Hibbert, Osman, Neville etc for a decade whilst Laudrup has bought quality players in incredibly cheaply.

Its important to have local lads/experienced pros in the squad and no mistake. I think you're seriously selling them short here. Don't let Neville's 2 seasons cloud your view of him, he doesn't choose to play CM remember. Also, Osman has been class for a decade now, when played in his favoured central position.

Kone from Wigan would be a decent buy but shame he's 30 next season, netted 15 goals in La Liga last season befoe moving to wigan where he is slightly shy of 1 in 2 goal ratio.

Given that Swansea sold Allen to the RS they could probably ask for £20m for Michu. I can't see many clubs paying it though. He'd probably be good at Arsenal but their ceiling is £15m and they generally buy younger players. Spurs are light up front and could do with some height to offset Defoe. City are in the market for a striker and Liverpool might be after another forward whether Suarez stays or not. I imagine that they'll all want to hold on and see whether he's a one season wonder or not though. The player seems quite happy with the club anyway and will probably want to play in Europe with them next season.

Nevermind about Michu, we need another right winger. Naismith is not a winger at all and I just cant fathom another game watching him play at winger again.
