I once worked for a Scottish life insurance company. They launched an ad campaign, using Blacks, "Wonderful Life", as in, "its a wonderful wonderful life etc etc".

Trouble was, they put the song on their phone system when you were on hold if you called them to claim...

AMEX filed a lawsuit against the Company I work for - relating to a large bill (in excess of $240,000) that our former CEO ran-up in a new york nightclub - apparently by him and a few chums on Brasses and beak!!

Best of all - he tried to put it on expenses!!!!

Top performance if you ask me - puts our polititicians to shame

Apparently when his credit reached above $50000 the club owners fingerprinted him, and he had to do phone authorisations with AMEX every hour to keep the credit rolling!.....But he just kept going!

Worst was probably that General Motors one with the exploding gas tanks.

If I remember correctly (which I rarely do) it involved dodgy gas tanks that exploded in low speed accidents. The corporate scum decided it was cheaper to just pay out on any law suits - from the families of the dead - than recall and fix the pick up trucks.
