Now I love the stuff, always have and always will.
I'm watching man vs food and it seems that american corned beef is not the same as ours.
No offense americans but yours doesn't look appealing!
Out of interest (coz I can't be arsed googling it) what is the difference between ours and yours?
And are there any other cultural differences to our version and their version?

'American' corned beef is what corned beef actually is.

Brisket beef cured in salt water or something. The gunk we usually get in tins is just processed pulp.

The real stuff is delicious. Though I admit to quite loving tinned corned beef and picalilililily buttys.

Oh and Man Vs Food is probably the best program on TV. He is my hero.

Corned Beef Hash with beans......love it.

Had pressed beef a few times, similar but different texture, drier.

I've not had corned beef for years, I'm going to have to buy some now when I next go shopping. Damn you GOT!
