Tevez. I knew that even if people hadn't seen it on SSN, they'd still know it was Tevez just because it was such a big bid from a south American club. But then my thread title would have taken up all I needed to say. And that would have been dull for me.

City rejected it btw. Idiots. And where the hell did Corinthians get 35 mill?! Give us some ffs!

FFS!

In a market where Andy Carroll is worth 35 mil, Tevez is probably worth 50. That being said, I think they'll hold out for 40 and then sell.

Rumor is that most of the £35 million was to be paid on wages not to City.

Seems confused like. Some papers are saying the £35 million was all transfer fee but some even say it was meant to be a loan.

Funny I've been thinking the same thing Nik. Maybe the 'British political refugee' aka Russian Oligarch Boris Berezovsky has something to do with them?

Don't even know who he is, but it smells like Ruskie to me! Don't know how they can get 35 mill for a player.

If Andy Carroll is worth £35 million then Tevez is worth £100 million. Carroll isn't half the player.

He could give him a run for his money in the bell department though.

Aye.

Carroll + 5/15 million = 40/50 million = Tevez ??? ( a la IcBruns )

wtf do they teach in the US equivalent of GCSE Maths these days ?

ffs, how much is a ponytail worth ? ffs. ffs.

This upset me, if you hadn't noticed

I read somewhere the fee would take up something like 25% of corinthians tv money for the next few years plus something involving sponsorship. Borrowing against shirt sales perhaps?

If Tevez REALLY wants to go why doesnt he make up whatever more City wants himself? He's not exactly skint is he?

they should have sold him, but i think they can have more from some other club, must be nuts-off situation for tevez
Ditto. I doubt City will get what they want for him tbh, so £35-40 million tops, unless the other interested club is Real Madrid. Even Madrid aren't that stupid are they?
Personally I think he's a very good player, as he made a difference everywhere he's played, but more alarmingly he has never settled at one club for more than a couple of years, even in his homeland. That alone should tell you something.
