It's boss. Met my wife in Riga when she was living in Copenhagen and went to visit her for a month. Fit birds all over the gaff. Monday and Tuesday fairly quiet, after that you should be smashing students in their little holes though

Yeah course it will mate. Just ask your hostel/ hotel reception where's good to go. Its a student city so bound to be somewhere to party every day of the week!

Im going Riga in April! Any good?

Had my stag do in Riga - it was ace. My best man ended up marrying a lap-dancer he met on the trip. Keep your wits about you in the clubs though as the town is run by Russian mafia.

I was there in 2003. Little Mermaid is just an incredibly bland statue. The women are outrageously hot, even those old enough to be your mother. Cyclists everywhere (it was summer), and even the beggars speak English.

As for Riga... I'm interested in having a second home there as it's close(ish) to St Petersburg where my wife's sister lives and we need her help occasionally with the kids. Has anyone sailed there from Copenhagen?
