Player Valuation: £70m
Had a quick look at news reports regarding Everton players contracts and the following players are coming to the end of theirs:

2011:
Pienaar (obviously!)
Yakubu
Vaughan
Anichebe
Turner

2012:
Distin
Neville
Saha
Howard

This leaves us with the potentially troubling situation of losing three of our five centre forwards for nothing at the end of the season.

Well how much do they actually play anyway to be fair three very injury prone players, we need new strikers so it could be a good thing although i'd like to see Vaughn do well.

there is that i suppose but i don't think Moysey would let that happen he's been in that situation before with no strikers. I think Nugent still would be ok as a squad player i don't think happy harry gave him a fair crack of the whip at Pompei and his confidence went. saying that he could also turn out to be a good championship striker and never make the grade.

Also strikers cost a lot of money which we don't have so i'd like to think Gueye and Silva were bought for this reason.

Yak will have this season to prove his worth.

Vaughan and pienaar will be gone

Vic will get a contract unless someone wants him and he wants regular footy

Surely Yak's can't end next summer, we'd have heard more about it.

This.

There's surely no way the Yak can go on a free, or we'd have heard.

Honestly though, I think vic is the biggest worry. I'd rather lose Pienaar than him, because Pienaar's getting on, whereas Vic is just starting to show his worth, and I have high hopes. He is however, a local lad, so surely he'll stick around? Especially as his dispute with Moyes seems to be in the past.

So you would rather lose a very talented player, who has constantly been 1 of our best players, than a sulky, ego tripping no hoper of a shithawk of a player, interesting.........

No, I'd rather lose a replaceable player, who wants silly wages and only has a few good years left in him, than a player who I think actually wants to play for the club, who was in scintillating form before his last injury, and is not even close to his prime.

Osman filling in on the left has shown that Pienaar really is replaceable. He's a top player, but his talents are exaggerated because of his partnership with Baines. Take Baines out of the equation and he isn't as good as some think he is. Anichebe has the potential to be a top class striker, and I'd like to see him reach his potential here, rather than somewhere else.

I'd have agreed with you about anichebe a year ago, but to think that now is crazy. He was excellent at the back end of last season, and he's matured off the field too.

There's only three of those nine players I'd be desperate not to see go: Howard, Pienaar, the Yak.

Yep, if the list is more...

2011:
Pienaar
Vaughan
Anichebe
Turner

2012:
Yakubu
Distin
Neville
Saha
Howard

I'd add Anichebe on the list of players I wouldn't want to go, at those expiry dates

If Vaughan can go for a free in the summer, then I wouldn't be surprised to see us sell him in Jan, to crystal palace, as he seems to be doing well there.
